I bought both this mouse and the HK Mira M to both consider as my new mouse after my Glorious Model D- broke on me after a month. Decided on the G Wolves Skoll due to the following reasons:- Comfort. This mouse fits my hand unbelievably well. It's wide enough for my fingers where I don't have to risk my hand cramping up. Speaking of grip.. Picking this up and putting it down feels I'm picking up a piece of paper, even though the build quality is excellent. The added side grips don't do much, and I actually feel like they make the mouse even more slippery so I opted to not put it on. It's taking a while to get used to feeling holes on the side of the mouse, but it's a trade off that's well worth it in my opinion.- Build quality. I realized how important this was for me after the PCB got dislodged in my previous mouse after only regular use. This thing is built really well, and the honey comb shell is very sturdy. I expect this mouse to last quite a while.- Mouse clicks. I loved the scroll wheel on the Glorious Model D- and this one is almost identical, except it feels a tad bit sturdier, which I like. The scroll wheel button isn't as difficult to press as the Mira M's, which is absurdly difficult to press by the way. I heard somewhere that G Wolves makes the best side buttons in the market, and I tend to agree after experiencing the side button clicks on this unit. Actuates with no travel, and satisfyingly clicky. Mouse 1 and 2 could be better, I felt a little bit of creak on both out of the box. I seemed to have been able to ignore it this morning after a night of gaming with it. It doesn't affect the use of it at all. I just wish it was more solid like the Mira M's.- Aesthetic. I never thought I would appreciate RGB in a gaming mouse the way I do with the Skoll. It provides this nice underglow on my deskpad that's so satisfying. I also love the ombre pattern with the top shell. The "aqua" color goes nicely with my setup. I was stuck on deciding between this colorway and the black colorway, but I ended up choosing the aqua colorway because it was going to get to me faster. I'm glad I did!- Sensor. The 3360 sensor has never failed me, and it works well with this unit also.Ultimately, my decision between the two mice came down to the scroll wheel. I like having very tactile bumps, coming from a long time Razer Basilisk V2 user, and the scroll wheel click is important to me, as I use it during web browsing and also as a melee button in some games. The scroll wheel on the HK Mira M is smooth, but too smooth for my liking, and the click takes way too much force to actuate. Both mice had trade offs, however. For example, the Mira M had way better clicks on the main buttons , felt lighter, and had a more convenient DPI button; but I've never preferred ambi mice over ergo, the side buttons had a lot of pre travel, and I couldn't really use my preferred grip due to it's shorter length. And even though the G Wolves Skoll has lacking main mouse buttons and is only a little bit heavier, the comfortable shape, scroll wheel feel, side click quality, and overall build quality helped me decide that this was the mouse for me.I'm not a gamer, i'm a 40+ finance person who likes gadgets and while in quarantine started liking the gaming peripheral. This mouse goes perfect with my Anne Pro 2 in white. Aesthetically it has blown me away. The Matte finish is super nice. the clicks are so crisp and the track of the wheel tight, to be honest i might of like it a little softer. The feet/skates are good enough, it's slide through my excel sheets at lightening speed. I'm so happy with this purchase and at the $60 price point it's worth it. i'm no tech specialist but the RGB at the base is the best part. Well, i lie, the best part is that this is finally a large enough mouse that fits snug in my hand. From what i've learned, i'm a palm mouse person and i like the feel of the whole equipment in my hand. LOL (so many jokes) It is super light, it's something i'll have to get use to. i'll also have to get use to going back to a wired mice.so, some back story to this is i've been rocking the amazing Logitech trackball for years. and wanted to switch back and forth between it and a regular mouse. While shopping around i saw these nice gaming mice and got hooked with the custom-ability of them all.It just sits nice on my ghetto desk at home. should be fun to play with.....TL;DR - The mouse is great! Nothing but minor nitpicks! The extras included make it the best value in the gaming mouse landscape!-Full thoughts-*Obviously, the weight is awesome. Coming from a 122g Corsair Glaive, the Skoll feels incredible at 65g especially with fine adjustments.*Ergo Shape and large size create a comfortable landing place for your hand.*Build quality is exceptional, with the only issues being slight post-travel in Mouse 1/2 and pre-travel in side buttons. Neither are significant enough to effect my gameplay.*All clicks are nice and crispy. No issues with double-click or unregistered actuations.*The scroll wheel is awesome. Defined steps and a solid click make it loads better than most on the market.*Software is simple, if a little sparse on lighting effects, and full-featured. Remapping the DPI button is a great ability to have*Cable is flexible, lightweight and stylish. A bungee is not required, but could be a good addition if your desk is cluttered.*The mouse feet are great, nothing spectacular, but don't give me any problems or cause unnecessary friction.*No issues with the sensor or tracking. DPI, liftoff and polling rates are adjustable and work great.**THE EXTRAS!!! You get so much for your money here in terms of value. Not only do you get a cool collectors tin, but inside you get extra switches, replacement para-cord cable, PTFE mouse skates and soft mouse grips. It's just awesome to see a company put this much in the package when the mouse alone is worth the price.A winner in my book. Just need to grab a mouse bungee and this thing will probably be my mouse for years to come. Great work G-Wolves!Love everything about this mouse. I already owned the first version (that came with a better sensor?) but can’t tell them apart in practical use. I play R6 Siege, Escape from Tarkov, Rust... all at 400 dpi for what that’s worth. Precise enough for me to snipe and light enough for me to run around looting, ducking bullets. If you like the shape of a Logitech G502 but only want about half the weight, this is the mouse for you. When ultralight mice first started getting popular I bought a few symmetrical, smaller ones. I liked them but really missed the ergos of the G502. This mouse has the best of both worlds. Both this and the old version come in a tin with all kinds of extra parts and goodies.Amazing mouse. High quality, esports specific, ergonomic, cheap, lots of extras, light weight. I have used almost every gaming mouse and mouse pad and prefer ergonomic mice (vs. ambidextrous).I play CSGO at a semi pro level and faceit level 10 (700 fps average, 360hz monitor). I average an 85% hs rate so precise aiming with the correct mouse (alongside optimal skates, pad, monitor, and fps) is extremely important to me.It’s one of my favourite gaming mice for CSGO as it feels like an zowie ec1 but as light as an xtrfy m4 or glorious model d. Basically, this mouse has the exact same shape and size as the ec1 but is a lighter version which is just perfect. I don’t like the honey comb cut out holes in any mouse so I use tennis grips to give me extra grip (using double sided tape) and cover the holes. The matte is also nice and slightly grippy and obviously not as grippy as glossy. It comes with fast hyperglide skates (as gwolves have now partnered with them since 2019).I disassembled the mouse and the build quality is very good. Soldering is clean, as well as the wiring, paracord ends, plastic cut outs for the mould, and the scroll wheel has a nice metal fitting (unlike other mice) to secure its place and ensure steady and equal scrolling. Microswitches are huano blue like zowies, and side switches are huano white. Since there are holes in the mouse cut out, some dust can get in but after a few blows they virtually disappear. Enough spare space inside the mouse cut outs for lead tape for added weight. The mouse website is in English and Chinese and doesn’t seem to be made or cared for well, but that’s just the website. It has a decent software that you install to set LED (mine is set to off), denounce time, polling rate, dpi, parameters etc. The software itself is comparable to the glorious model d one so it’s not that bad and does the job. Set and forget.I have no real complaints against this mouse Just me being picky but would like GWolves to give the mouse feet cut outs like Glorious do. My biggest complaint would be the paracord as it isn’t as “on-the-fly” or “sleek” as an actual paracord but that’s basically with all gaming mice “paracords” (it’s as close as you can get from the mouse company). Since I use low sensitivity (400 dpi, 1.4 in game), I swipe the mouse a lot and even with a bungee the cord can get in the way (I really don’t like the cord—it’s too stiff). Paracord isn’t as long as the model d. I’ve tried replacing the paracord with a 4 pin USB but it requires a 5 pin USB (my mistake). I would also have preferred a pixart 3389 sensor as with the m4 but the differences from a 3360 (as with model d and zowie) are virtually impossible to notice.I switched to the model d for a few days and I just couldn’t hit the headshots as well, so I switched back.Overall, high quality and highly functional for a relatively cheap mouse. Until 8000hz polling rate mice come out (eg atom palm in Fall), I will be using this mouse. This mouse is slightly larger than the Zowie EC2-B, however the light weight of it makes up for the slight difference in size.If you're looking for an EC2-B lightweight clone this isn't entirely accurate however it's an excellent mouse none the less. I ran my EC2-B at 1600 dpi and the new Skoll at 1600dpi however I found that I had to increase my in-game sensitivity quite a bit. My tracking aim is significantly better on the Skoll likely due to the weight. G-Wolves make the Skoll-S which is a smaller version of the EC series. In my opinion best shape and total package compared toXtrfy M4 (odd shape, not smooth enough transitions, poor cable) still very goodGlorious Model D/O (Over hyped in general)Coolermaster MM711 (too thin, very small) very, very good mouse and cheap. perfect cable IMOVery good packagingPerfect shape IMOVery nice cable, not MM711 good but closeEasy to use with software and without softwareCould do with more RGB on board to shine through honeycombside clicks a little spongy. If you use you side buttons a lot you may not like this. The appearance of the mouse is very cool, with colorful lights on the bottom. When playing games at night, the colorful lights of the mouse enhanced my immersive experience. The overall size of the mouse is very professional and ergonomically designed. It is difficult for me to find such a suitable mouse. The scrolling of the scroll wheel is also very smooth, which is very friendly to the zoomed-in and zoomed-out images that I often need during work and entertainment, allowing me to grasp it accurately.
