When my Corsair Virtuoso headset unexpectedly broke a few months ago, I wasn't sure what to replace it with. There are a lot of headsets on the market! But I decided to look at this one because I have the mouse from this series line. And I'm glad that I did! The build quality of this headset is solid. It seems to be equal parts metal and very solid, sturdy plastic, which I appreciated after discovering the Virtuoso was built so cheaply (though to be fair, I do put my headsets through the ringer). The audio quality is great right out of the box, and the Logitech G Hub app gives you a lot of customization if that's what you're looking for. Its Bluetooth range is good, too; I can hear with no issues in most parts of my house. It's also probably the most COMFY headset I've ever worn (better than the Virtuoso and my old Steel Series headset). Sometimes I forget I'm wearing it.I would say my only gripe is that the volume wheel on the back can be a little sensitive if you're moving around a lot (nothing too drastic, but I've had it wiggle a few degrees). I haven't tested its microphone quality since I have an external mic, but all the other reviews seem to indicate that it's pretty decent.Firstly, I AM an audiophile (at least, your crowd would consider me to be). I have owned several pairs of really good headphones, my favorite being a pair of $300 Argon modded T50RPs. And I think this headset is really good for the price. I have this review organized into different parts, so you can just to a particular section if you want, but I recommend reading the entire review (not just for mine, but for all reviews).-PACKAGING AND STUFF-The headphone comes in a foam sleeve for protection, which you can just slip off. It comes with two cables, a longer braided cable with a volume wheel and a mic mute button, and a slightly shorter rubber cable with a button meant for phone use. It also comes with a y-splitter which is for compatibility purposes with some PCs, but you won't be using this because you'll be using the USB dongle it comes with to use that Blue Voice technology. It also comes with a very nice carrying bag made with a similar material to some sweat pants, and an alternate pair of velour ear pads (velour is a soft and breathable material).-BUILD/COMFORT/ISOLATION-This headphone is really well built, with hard plastic cups and a metal headband covered with pleather. The cups also have a protruding machined metal circular G logo that reflect in the light, which you'll either love or hate. The headband could use a bit softer padding, but it isn't terrible. The ear pads fit over my ears perfectly, and seal very well. The good seal comes from the tighter clamping force of this headphone. Clamping force is just how tight the headphone is on you, and the nice thing about having a metal headband is that you can always bend the top of the headband back a few times to alleviate the clamping force (while still being careful) if it's too tight and uncomfortable for you. The pads are soft and thick enough to provide standard comfort for us audio nerds, but if you're used to crappy and uncomfortable headphones then this will be a a godsend for you. A quick note about the "noise cancelling" Amazon is asking me to review: this are not noise cancelling headphones. Noise cancelling (also called active noise cancelling, ANC) is when the headphones emit a frequency that tries to negate long and consistent sounds, such as airplane noise. These do have fantastic noise isolation, which is when the headphones have such a good seal that it's harder to hear outside noises, even with nothing's playing. That's why I gave the "Noise Cancelling" 3 stars, because that's not what this has.-MIC-To be clear; I'm a headphone guy, not a mic guy. That being said, while this definitely won't compare to an expensive $150+ XLR mic setup, the mic on this headphone sounds really good, and I can't imagine any headset around this price having as good of a mic. At least, that's what I got from all of the comparison videos and reviews I watched before buying these. But where this shines is the software, allowing you to tweak the sound of your mic on the Logitech G Hub software. Like many others, I personally like the preset "Broadcaster 2", but there are other presets too, including ones for people with high pitched loud voices or high pitched soft voices (as well as low pitched voice equivalents). Basically, there are a lot of presets to choose from and you can further tweak the settings if you want, creating the best sound profile for your voice.-SOUND QUALITY-REALLY good for the price. The sound overall is smoother and more natural than a pair of $150 headphones I own (AKG K552 MK2). While I have't tested the sound extensively and compared it to all of my headphones, from what I can tell the sound signature is mostly neutral. This means that you won't have higher or lower frequencies that are much louder than others (Beats headphones, for example, have much louder bass than everything else). This is generally good in a headphone, but if you wanted to boost the bass (or any other frequency) you can change the EQ in the G Hub Software. The soundstage isn't very big, which means that it sounds like everything is in a small room with you rather than a few rows back in a concert hall like it would if there was a big soundstage. While most people would prefer having a large soundstage when playing games, it really comes down to personal preference. The stereo imaging is very good on these headphones too. Nothing game changing or absolutely amazing, but it does what it's supposed to and doesn't have any weird quirks like a pair of headphones I listened to at one point.This is really important though: please don't click "Enable Surround Sound" in the G Hub Software. This enables virtual surround sound, which doesn't really do anything when it comes to positional audio, but it does decrease audio quality by a little bit. Virtual surround sound is basically a scam, even the ones that do change the sound only over-exaggerate the imaging to unrealistic proportions, and will require you to get used to the new exaggerated sound. Games already have their own positional audio system, and exaggeration done by software is an alteration not intended by the sound team for that game. Headphones with "real" surround sound that have multiple drivers per cup will pretty much always sound worse compared to similarly priced headphones with one driver per cup (stereo headphones), because each driver will be and sound cheaper, and doesn't help positional audio because they're all in the same cup anyways. Compaired to other gaming headsets the sound is clean and crisp and the mic works just fine no issues.The Logitech Pro Headphones are not noise cancelling, but you can turn them up enough to drown out your surroundings. I have found with other head phones that are wired and don't have their own power supply fails to perform at the level of battery powered Headphones. With the Logitech Pro Headphones that is not the case.Finally the Pros are sturdy. Completely made metal and leather. I can't see them having the same problem as plastic headsets that break down faster over time. The only cons I see so far is that they are a little less comfortable than a mostly plastic pair of headsets because they are heavier. If you are playing in a hot room the leather around the ears cause you to sweat more vs plastic foam headsets.Overall I give The Logitech Pro headphones a 4 out of 5.This design, compared to the original Logitech pro headset, is a much more powerful and sturdier headset. The audio is AMAZING for both music and gaming. You will have no issues hearing exact location of enemies on shooter games. You will feel as if you’re wearing a professional studio headset while listening to music. This headset works great for all consoles and pc. Plug into pc first, install G HUB and connect the headset through USB memory sound card and review or change settings and make sure firmware is up to date. After that, you can uninstall g hub to be honest. Keep headset connected to USB memory and hook the USB memory up to your console to keep your specific settings. If not, just plug into the controller. Not much a difference. Amazing headset all around and will definitely last me for years. Very much worth the price. Eu vim de um Headset Microsoft Lx-3000 (conexão USB), que usava pra jogar e trabalhar, ou seja, um Headset mediano que atendia minhas necessidades.Meu uso:Eu estive procurando um Headset Wireless por bastante tempo por 2 motivos (logicamente com a mesma qualidade ou próxima do Headset com fios).1. Necessitava de um Headset em que pudesse me levantar da cadeira e andar um pouco enquanto estou em reuniões de trabalho (como estou muito tempo em Home Office é legal levantar um pouco).2. Queria um Headset em que eu não ficasse esbarrando ou ficasse com a sensação de fios pendurados enquanto estivesse jogando.Por esses motivos todos acima, principalmente das reviews inúteis que vi, vou fazer a minha baseada nos critérios abaixo:--------------------------------SOM:-NITIDEZUma das dúvidas que sempre tenho é se o som é nítido. Quando digo sobre nitidez é o quanto um som é límpido, ou seja, um som que não seja abafado do qual você não consegue nem mesmo distinguir a voz das pessoas (sem considerar a qualidade do vídeo e sem controles adicionais).O som é bem nítido nas configurações padrão e não fica com aquele som parecido com "som de ligação de telefone discado". Os fones mais antigos tinham essa característica pela tecnologia não estar totalmente madura, tornando o som com perda de qualidade e com mais característica de "telefone", mas o receptor 2.4ghz ajuda bastante nisso.Não dá pra comparar com Headsets com fio, principalmente os que são mais profissionais, há uma perda de qualidade, porém para um cara que não trabalha com som como eu, é pouquíssimo perceptível... mas lembre-se: meu foco é mobilidade com a qualidade igual ou semelhante ao que eu usava (que também não era headset profissional).-VOLUMEA intensidade do som é algo que muita gente não leva em consideração alguns pontos. Muito se depende do tipo de conteúdo que está se consumindo no momento... principalmente vídeos. Muitos já devem ter se deparado com um vídeo extremamente baixo onde a gente precisa aumentar até o último volume e logo em seguida ter que baixá-lo porque o vídeo seguinte era muito alto.O volume é bem cadenciado neste Headset. O que eu quero dizer com isso? Quero dizer que não é possível aumentar demais mas também não é um volume tão baixo. Há de se considerar que é precisso lembrar aos mais hardcores que o Headset não é amplificador e que também há o fato limitador da bateria, não é ligado a uma fonte de energia (tomada), etc. É projetado para ser wireless. Embora essa seja a característica é muito satisfatório o volume.-CONTROLESNesta parte não sei dizer tanto porém há muitos controles. Há equalizadores personalizados no software da Logitech e várias tecnologias embutidas. Ajustei de uma forma que ficasse agradável aos meus ouvidos.--------------------------------MICROFONE-NITIDEZ DO SOMEsse é o ponto mais contraditório de todos os reviews que já vi. Ninguém conseguiu demonstrar de forma satisfatória qual é o verdadeiro som. Só consegui ouvir o som verdadeiro do microfone quando um amigo me disse que estava usando este headset e falando comigo pelo Discord.Não acredite nos reviews pseudo-gamers. Eles usam microfones que estão muito fora da realidade da grande maioria, sendo microfones profissionais.A nitidez do PRO X é muito satisfatória para se comunicar em jogos e trabalhar. Para fazer vídeos talvez não seja o ideal (como é a realidade dos pseudo-gamers) mas para trabalhar e jogar é muito satisfatório.O som da voz não fica como se estivéssemos com fones bluetooth ou mesmo em um telefone convencional. Fica com uma boa qualidade e totalmente nítido.É importante também lembrar que o volume da sua voz também depende de ajustes do sistema operacional (que muitas vezes interfere pois tem configurações automáticas) e também do software que estará usando o microfone (Skype, Discord, etc).Outra coisa importante é sempre manter o firmware, através do G HUB (software da Logitech), atualizado. Isso proporciona constantes melhorias no som. Alguns dos vídeos mais antigos mencionam que conforme o firmware foi sendo atualizado a qualidade do som foi melhorando e este pode ser um dos motivos pelos quais os vídeos mais antigos davam um review pior para este headset.--------------------------------ESTRUTURAA estrutura é bem robusta sendo as hastes que seguram as conchas de metal bem resistente (diferentemente das de plástico do Microsoft Lx-3000 que eu usava) o que já dá uma boa segurança na hora de usar.Microfone tem conexão P2 (aqueles conectores de fone tradicionais de "pininho") e é destacável. Na hora de transportar em uma mochila é muito útil pois eu sempre me preocupava de acabar quebrando em outros headsets em que não era destacável. Além de disso ele é totalmente articulável. Tem uma estrutura de metal em que podemos dobrar para qualquer direção (tipo aquelas estruturas de metal segmentadas, que eu informalmente chamo de "cobrinha").Existem botões na concha esquerda do Headset, sendo elas de liga e desliga, botão de Mute e "rodinha" de volume. Todas elas ficam em uma posição agradável e é bem intuitivo depois das primeiras usadas do Headset. Detalhe para a roda de volume, que é infinita, não tem uma posição fixa de término, o que é bastante útil pois se tem um controle muito melhor.--------------------------------CARREGAMENTO / BateriaAinda na concha esquerda, tem a conexao USB-C para carregamento, que tem um detalhe MUITO IMPORTANTE. A posição não é tão boa, porém é possível fazer o carregamento do Headset ao mesmo tempo em que usamos, o que a maioria dos headsets não faz.A Bateria dura tranquilamente mais de 10 horas seguidas e com energia ainda de sobra. Por experiência própria trabalhando com ele e escutando música já teve dias em que precisei carregar apenas depois de 2 dias (logicamente com minha rotina de uso).-------------------------------ConclusãoEu fiquei realmente muito satisfeito com este Headset. Na época comprei pela Amazon mesmo e estava tendo um desconto pequeno (mas desconto é desconto né rs) que ficava por 1299,00.É um preço relativamente alto... acredito que poderia ser um pouco mais barato, porém pelas funcionalidades que ele entrega estou bem satisfeito por enquanto.I liked that this headset was very easy and seamless to get it up and running especially if you already have Ghub installed. However, I noticed multiple issues within my first week of use in which I had to just return the product as it was not worth the $262 CAD.Pros:Comfortable, and has a decent battery life. The G PRO X has a wide range for adjustment that should fit anyone's noggin, and if you tend to get hot while gaming (sensitive to temperature around the ears) you can swap the pads out with the included velour like material pads. Easy connection to PC.Flaws:The biggest flaw for this $262 headset is the microphone. I don't think I've had a microphone sounding this bad since my days in 2012 with a Steelseries Siberia V2 headset. Now it may not matter to yourself since you do not hear yourself while using this mic, but for the people on the other end it is indeed dreadful. The microphone peaks and sounds like there is an abnormal amount of cutoff between frequencies. Since using this microphone I had to repeatedly repeat what I say in voice coms since the microphone straight up does not recognize my voice and cuts off every single damn time. Logitech needs to revisit and tune this microphone or scrap it in general and release a G PRO X V2 with a Blue mic attached. Not acceptable, my airpods mic sounds better than this headset.Headset randomly disconnects, halfway through a match or whatever the headset drops connection for like a split moment not even a second but it forces me to my homepage. Big con when gaming, and only really ever noticed this happening while gaming. (gaming headset btw)If my headset was faulty with the disconnect then I would give this a 3 star but it seems like other people have had the same exact issues as me....It is just one month from I get this headset. I never hit it and I never do anything rude to it. But it broke today. It is only 34 days and its quality can not match its price. I never think a headset can break down in the short term.Bad and sad experience.Al inicio estaba encantado con los audífonos, pues eran mis primeros wireless y en ese sentido no hay ninguna queja, buena duración de batería y fácil de usar. El sonido no es nada del otro mundo pero por el simple hecho de tener Blue Voice te cobran excesivamente. Aún así y a pesar de casi no usar el micrófono incluído les di la oportunidad al precio, pero para mí pesar, Logitech ha caído de mi gracia. De ser una de mis marcas favoritas a tener fallos en todos los dispositivos, desde pulsaciones dobles u omitidas en sus teclados, hasta usar para sus mouses sensores que con el mínimo de polvo dejan de funcionar en poco tiempo, dando como resultado clicks dobles o nula retención del click, que en shooters al apuntar afectan demasiado.En el caso de estos audífonos en menos de seis meses y sin ningún caso en lo absoluto de uso rudo, caídas u otras situaciones que podrían causar esto y a pesar de anunciarse el uso de materiales premium e incluso diadema de acero, de nada va a servir si lo que une a esta con los auriculares en cuestión son unos topes internos de plástico de lo más frágiles, y que como pueden ver en las imágenes, terminan por partirse y así separar las partes laterales, he tenido que usar super pegamentos o incluso ligas para el pelo para poder mantenerlas unidas, puesto que no simplemente se desatornillan, sino que se desprenden por completo. En la primer imagen adjunta se puede ver la ruptura de uno de los ejes en los auriculares, igualmente sin golpes o caídas, simplemente por el movimiento común del auricular. Ojalá y de todo corazón espero solo haya Sido un defecto de fabricación único; puesto que por el precio al que se venden, el cliente debería obtener mucho másSounds amazing, good range for a wireless headset, pretty solid build.cons:- the volume wheel doesn't stop at max and just does an annoying beep sound when it reaches the max- The ear pads are really thin which makes my ears touche the internal of the headset.
